Cobra 2204 change to Lumenier 1806 on my LS180 build

The LS180 (QAV180 clone from Banggood) was pretty good on 4x4.5BN and 4x4.5x3 (tri-blades) props, but the motors I had weren't really suited, being the Cobra 2204-2300kv's, and I wanted those for a 5" build (LS210).

So I was looking for alternatives, and at the exact same time, random-Mark on the MMRC Facebook channel happened to post some Lumenier 1806-13 2500kv motors he ordered for an incomplete project, and was selling on the cheap - brand new, in packaging.

Probably should have weighed it etc, impatient and just did it .. Also went from cable-ties holding the ESCs/wires to electrical tape, better finish but not as lean.

Can't wait to take these for a spin.!

  1. What an amazing X-design your prototype is. I for one admire how you modified the whole thing to include the Lumenier 1806-13 motors. Great work, keep it up! I also got an impressive piece of technology here: http://mydronelab.com/reviews/blade-quadcopters.html

  3. Another tip to keep in mind is to buy drone that has a gimbal support. The gimbal support is going to keep the camera stable during the drone's flight, allowing it to take better photos and videos.rc judge
